I'll go first, this Sunday's list is pretty sick but you'll have to come to find out what it is!!
Here we go!
1. Jesus Paid it All (Classic)
2. This is Life (Miriam rocks this song!!)
3. Healer (Epic, and melts minds)

YO 1st time comment woop woop....
I've always thought the song "I remember" by the band formally known as Grand Prize was awsome. I just saw it on iTunes but its a different version then I remember...I lost my music library in a recent computer change makes me cry
:(....
That whole cd is good for those of you who like a little bit of "Rock" in your life.
I also like some of the older Kutless stuff from their worship album.
So as for the blog answer I don't have 3-4 songs but those are some that I've thought were really good in the past.

Love the list, Miriam... so when are we doing them? ;-)
Posted by: Kate | October 25, 2008 at 10:45 PM
I think I like songs with the word "yes" in them. I like :
1.We Will Ride ("yes Lord we'll ride with you)
2.Trading My Sorrows ("yes Lord, yes Lord, yes, yes lord)
3.Yes You Have by Leeland ("you have stolen my heart - yes You have)
Declarations to the Lord that I am willing, ready and available help position me to press thru the junk for that day.

I think we need to be more diverse and sing some of our black christian artists songs, ex: Michele Mullen, BeBe Winan, Yolanda Adams, Israel Holston

Was just reading this older thread. Don't know if this will bump it up or not. I love the soaking idea. I once typed charismatic movements in a search engine a few years back. I found a site that spoke of a movement (I believe Sweeden) where they just began by singing out praises, then singing spoken blessings and words of encouragement over the congregation. Like, "I speak health to you!" "I speak peace to you!" "I speak sound minds, boldness, and freedom!" and so on. The result was a massive wave of the Spirit and people being healed and set free. Similar to soaking, but boldly directive and more intense. I have yet to locate the site again. It was maybe 5 or 6 years ago. There is so much power in what we speak over each other, even more so when directed by Holy Spirit.
